CompensationCompetitive Pay ProgramsSalaries are competitive for each position and periodic pay increases are based on performance. Each employee's performance is reviewed after his or her 90-day adjustment period. All employees receive a performance and salary review at least once a year. Educational Assistance/Tuition Reimbursement ProgramAsahi/America encourages participation in outside educational programs as long as the subjects and degrees are job-related. Asahi will reimburse certain costs to the employee after the successful completion of the course. Reimbursement amounts are based on the grades received and dependent upon receipted bills from the institution. Books are not covered. Credit Union/Direct DepositAsahi/America offers its own Credit Union affiliation with Metropolitan Credit Union of Chelsea, MA. The company encourages direct deposit as an added convenience to its employees. Profit SharingAsahi/America's profit sharing plan has been in operation since 1985 and is available to every eligible employee who has worked at least three months at the company, depending on date of hire and when profit sharing is issued. 401K MatchingUnder the 401(k) plan, the employee has the opportunity to defer a portion of his or her pre-taxed annual pay into an investment account. The company matches 401(k) contributions up to 4% starting at day one of employement at Asahi/America. Statements are issued quarterly. |
