Asahi/America, Inc., the leader in thermoplastic fluid flow technology, is pleased to announce the winners of its 2020 Project of the Year competition. Contestants competed in three categories: Valves & Actuation; Piping System; and Most Unique Installation.
To enter, participants had to submit at least one photo of the installation and information about the project. The project needed to be completed in 2020 and include Asahi/America products in order to be eligible. Each winner received a trophy and American Express Gift Card.
- Piping System Project of the Year: Rehabilitation of a sulfuric acid system for a water treatment plant using Asahi/America's Ultra Proline® piping system - submitted by Chris R. from an Asahi/America distributor in Orlando, FL.
- Most Unique Project of the Year: New system for a lithium nickel slurry using Asahi/America's Poly-Flo® and Pro150 piping systems, Series 79 pneumatic actuators, ball and swing check valves - submitted by Taylor M. from an Asahi/America distributor in Jacksonville, FL.
- Valves & Actuation Project of the Year: Water treatment plant using Asahi/America’s Chem Proline® piping system, diaphragm valves, ball valves and pressure regulators - submitted by Tom W. from an Asahi/America distributor in Seattle, WA.
