Series 79 PAG pneumatic actuators have a glass-reinforced polyamide housing for chemical resistance and high strength. The actuator functions using a double piston rack and pinion arrangement for a smooth torque profile throughout the actuator stroke. Air-to-spring models feature a concentric spring set for consistent output torque. The base of the actuator has an ISO output drive and bolt circle for easy mounting to quarter turn valves. The top of the actuator has a visual position indicator and a NAMUR mounting pad to accommodate mounting accessories. The air ports are 1/4″ NPT and have a NAMUR bolt pattern to accommodate flush mount solenoids.

The Series 17 electric actuator features a reversing motor with multi-voltage capabilities; 85 VAC-265 VAC (50/60Hz), 24 VDC. An internal heater, auxiliary switches, and two position indicating LED’s are standard equipment. Additional features include a permanently lubricated steel gear train, NEMA Type 4 & 6 enclosure with a thermally bonded powder coat finish, declutchable manual override, visual mechanical position indication, ISO bolt circle, and flying leads. The Series 17 can be mounted to Asahi/America’s Type-21 ball valve and Type-57P butterfly valves.

The Series 94 electric actuator is a basic electric actuator designed for smaller (generally up to 4″) quarter-turn valves, and is a good low-cost alternative to larger electric actuators. The Series 94 actuators have a thermally protected, bi-directional, capacitor run motor with a permanently lubricated gear train. Because of their size, the Series 94 actuators have a short open/close time, approximately 5 seconds, and a weight of only 3.5 lbs.
