Ball Valve Options
Vented Ball
When a ball valve is closed, product is trapped in the cavity of the ball. If that product off-gasses, it will build up pressure in the cavity area which could lead to a failure or other hazardous conditions. A vented ball is a ball that has been factory-drilled on one side to relieve the potential for pressure buildup in the ball cavity.
