Asahi/America's Pro-Lock System consists of two separate pipes (carrier and containment) constructed of corrosion-resistant thermoplastic, PVC and CPVC. At the heart of the system is Asahi/America's patented Dogbone® fitting. This unique fitting locks the inner pipe to the outer pipe for proper stress control. The Dogbone allows for proper termination from double wall to single wall while maintaining system pressure rating. In addition the Dogbone helps control thermal expansion. For added security, the Pro-Lock System can be used in conjunction with a number of leak detection methods.
The Pro-Lock System is available in a variety of size rangles – from 1x 3 to 6 x 10. Each size range is available in sch 40 x 40, 80 x 40 or 80 x 80 ratings
