Power generation comes in various forms, including nuclear, coal/oil, solar, hydrogen and wind. Nuclear and coal/oil power plants, in particular, require highly purified demineralized water for their boilers. Demineralization systems in these facilities typically use both acid and caustic chemicals to regenerate resin beds. Polypropylene and PVDF piping are commonly used for chemical feed and skid applications in these systems.
